Dokonet Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (hereinafter referred to as 'the Terms') set forth the conditions for the use of the services (hereinafter referred to as 'the Service') provided by JKK Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as 'the Company') on this website. Registered users (hereinafter referred to as 'Users') shall use the Service in accordance with these Terms.

Article 1 (Application)

These Terms shall apply to all relationships related to the use of the Service between Users and the Company.

Article 2 (Registration)

Registration shall be completed when the applicant applies for registration in the manner prescribed by the Company and the Company approves the application. The Company may not approve registration if the applicant falls under any of the following reasons, and shall have no obligation to disclose the reasons.

  • If false information is provided in the registration application
  • If the application is from a person who has violated these Terms
  • If the Company otherwise deems the registration inappropriate

Article 3 (User ID and Password Management)

Users shall manage their User ID and password for the Service at their own responsibility. Under no circumstances may Users transfer or lend their User ID and password to a third party. If the combination of User ID and password matches the registered information, the Company shall consider it as use by the User who registered that User ID.

Article 4 (Prohibited Activities)

Users shall not engage in the following activities when using the Service:

  • Activities that violate laws or public order and morals
  • Activities related to criminal acts
  • Activities that destroy or interfere with the functions of the Company's servers or network
  • Activities that may interfere with the operation of the Company's services
  • Activities that collect or store personal information about other users
  • Activities that impersonate other users
  • Activities that directly or indirectly provide benefits to anti-social forces in connection with the Company's services
  • With respect to the AI text generation features provided by the Service, activities that use automation tools or similar means to attempt unfairly large volumes of output, or activities that analyze, decompile, or otherwise examine the AI model
  • Other activities deemed inappropriate by the Company

Article 5 (Suspension of Service)

The Company may suspend or interrupt all or part of the Service without prior notice to Users if it determines that any of the following reasons exist:

  • When performing maintenance or updates to the computer system related to the Service
  • When the provision of the Service becomes difficult due to force majeure such as earthquakes, lightning, fire, power outages, or natural disasters
  • When computers or communication lines are stopped due to an accident
  • When the Company otherwise determines that the provision of the Service is difficult

The Company shall not be liable for any disadvantage or damage suffered by Users or third parties due to the suspension or interruption of the Service, regardless of the reason.

Article 6 (Usage Restrictions and Deregistration)

The Company may restrict all or part of the use of the Service or deregister a User without prior notice in the following cases:

  • If any provision of these Terms is violated
  • If it is found that there are false facts in the registered information
  • If the Company otherwise deems the use of the Service inappropriate

The Company shall not be liable for any damage caused to Users by actions taken by the Company based on this article.

Article 7 (Disclaimer)

The Company's liability for breach of contract shall be exempted if it is not caused by the Company's intentional act or gross negligence.

Even if the Company is liable for any reason, the Company shall only be liable for compensation within the range of ordinary damages and, in the case of paid services, within the amount of the fee (or one month's equivalent for ongoing services).

The Company shall not be liable for any transactions, communications, or disputes between Users and other users or third parties in connection with the Service.

The Company makes no warranties regarding the output results of the AI text generation features within the Service (hereinafter referred to as the 'AI Features'), including their accuracy, completeness, usefulness, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement of third-party intellectual property rights or other rights. The Company shall not be liable for any damage caused to Users or third parties by the use of output results from the AI Features.

Article 8 (Special Provisions Concerning AI Text Generation Features)

Users agree in advance that, when using the AI Features, shop information (shop name, address, descriptions, etc.) and images and other data registered or entered by users on the Service (hereinafter referred to as 'Registered Data') may be automatically cited and processed for the purpose of text generation and optimization by the AI Features.

Copyrights in text and other deliverables generated by the AI Features (hereinafter referred to as 'Deliverables') shall belong to the User who generated those Deliverables. However, if third-party rights are included in the Deliverables, Users shall use the Deliverables at their own responsibility, including obtaining permission from the relevant rights holders.

Users shall always review and revise the Deliverables themselves before publishing or using them in blogs or similar media, and Users themselves shall bear all responsibility for the published content.

Article 9 (Changes to Service Content)

The Company may change the content of the Service or discontinue the provision of the Service without notifying Users, and shall not be liable for any damage caused to Users as a result.

Article 10 (Changes to Terms of Service)

The Company may change these Terms at any time without notifying Users when it deems necessary.

Article 11 (Notices and Communications)

Notices or communications between Users and the Company shall be made by methods prescribed by the Company.

Article 12 (Prohibition of Transfer of Rights and Obligations)

Users may not transfer their contractual status or rights or obligations under these Terms to a third party, or provide them as security, without the prior written consent of the Company.

Article 13 (Governing Law and Jurisdiction)

Japanese law shall be the governing law for the interpretation of these Terms.

In the event of any dispute arising from the Service, the court having jurisdiction over the Company's head office shall be the exclusive agreed jurisdiction.
